This months menu will scream spring to us… from the light and tasty tart with a garnish of green bean salad in a sticky sweet chilli dressing to the main course of roasted chump of lamb that will be served with a garnish of a tomato and ginger sauce and some confit new season leeks and crispy fried pommes Dauphine… a mix of potato and savoury choux pastry.
We will then in both French fashion and what has become something of a tradition for us, serve a selection of specially selected cheeses from both local and afar. We will of course be serving our porridge oat biscuits as well.
To complete the meal a tangy traditional lemon & lemon posset with the addition of some fresh rhubarb and a freshly baked shortbread biscuit will be served.
