Hari Alfresco – Saturday 5th September

We are now taking bookings for our Socially Distanced Alfresco dinner…

What is likely to be our last Alfresco dinner for the summer of 2020 (weather permitting) we will celebrate an early Autumnal feel with the following menu.

Welcome Drink & Nibbles

Homemade Chicken, Pork & Hazelnut Terrine, served with

Homemade Damson Chutney with freshly baked Onion Beer Bread roll

Roasted Lamb Rump with a Black Olive, Tomato & Pepper Sauce

Gratin Dauphinoise

Hari’s selection of Cheeses with Porridge Oat Biscuits

Plum Frangipane Tartlet, Spiced Plum Compote with Mascarpone Cream

We will serve some seasonal nibbles with a welcome drink on arrival as you take your seats on our covered decking…

We will then kick this “Hari Alfresco” off with a homemade terrine that will be studded with toasted Hazelnuts. Tart local damson chutney will go with this and some freshly baked mini onion beer bread rolls. I love making a terrine as it is an art to get the balance of flavours, textures and the look when you first cut into it (always excitement to see what it’s like when you first cut it!!)

The main course is a great combo… Pink roasted Lamb Rump served with a sauce of Black olives, tomato and roasted red peppers. We will serve this with a venerable favourite of Gratin Dauphinoise and Green Beans.

Following this we will serve a selection of specially selected cheeses with our homemade porridge oat biscuits. (they take about 2-3 days to make)

To complete this meal what could be more seasonal than a fresh Victoria Plum Tart that is topped with Frangipane (Almond Paste) and baked topped with flaked Almonds. Served with a spiced plum compote and Mascarpone Cream.

We will serve fresh coffee and some assorted petit fours to complete your meal. Water and Glasses all provided just bring your own wine/drinks to go with the meal

We are limited to just 8 persons on tables of 2 (we can do 4 or 6 as well)

Arrival: 7:30pm

Dinner: 8:00pm

Suggested Donation: £35 per person (service not included) – we request a £5 booking confirmation per person payable via a secure payment link. We ask the balance payable on the night in cash.
