OK we are assuming Lockdown 2 will be over and we can all start to celebrate again and with Xmas just around the corner lets hope families can all get together. For our next Hari to Go we will only have a total of 6 Tiffin Boxes up for grabs as we are are going to do a 4 course meal on this occasion so it will be a little more celebratory
We will kick the menu off with a starter we experienced in Australia at the beginning of the year – namely a pate style dish of Whipped Mortadella that will come served with a olive and pepper pepperonata and some sourdough toasts.
The main course will be a dish we had planned to do back in September before my somewhat unfortunate leg episode. A classic Osso Bucco (Veal Shin – no pun intended) that will be served with a saffron risotto. This dish is one of my all time favourites and the addition of a gremolata sauce with the rich stew makes it a perfect winter warming dish.
For dessert we will serve a fresh mango traybake that will come with Mango & Lime Salsa and some Mascarpone Cream – a light finish to complete your meal
Included in this meal will be a 75cl bottle of red wine to go with your meal and a choice of two Covert Community Bakery pastries on Sunday 6th when you return the Tiffin Box…
A couple of Xmas crackers and a secret Santa present that will, we hope, provide you with some winter cheer.
The return of your Tiffin Box the next day will also include a choice of two fresh pastries from Covert Community Bakery (Must be ordered when your booking is confirmed)
