A real life experience…
This is something we have recently been trialing with a view to opening up for all to take part in.. We take over the kitchens of a college training restaurant and invite up to 8-10 participants to join our chef mentors to prepare a 3 course meal from scratch and then help serve this meal to a restaurant full of guests who will pay what they think it is worth. (we do ask for a minimum £10 donation to cover food costs)
We can do this for the following groups
Children 8-13 years of age
Children 11-18 years of Age
Adults 18 plus
Participants will spend 3 hours in the kitchen/restaurant preparing the meal fresh from scratch and then they will spend about 2 hours helping on the service and joining their families or guests eating what they have prepared – so a total time of circa 5 hours.
The price per person for this experience will be £50 per person
This experience is all about team & confidence building as you will be required to learn new skills as well as fine tune your organisational skills. It will also be very much a fun afternoon and past participants have said how much they have enjoyed the whole experience.
We will also be doing smaller scale versions of this in our home venue where we will have two young people working alongside Hari and up to 10 guests dining.
