Well it has been a while but we are now planning some Summer 2023 dates at a couple of venues dear to our hearts.
We will be rocking up with our Paella Pans at the these venues on the following dates
Sunday 9th July – Herbert Hall – Bar HH – Marden
Saturday 22nd July – Cellarhead Taproom – Flimwell
We plan to cook fresh paella comprising of chicken, chorizo and mixed seafood that will be served alongside a portion of fresh Hugh Lowe Farm strawberries (the farm that supply All England Tennis Club/Wimbledon each year). Price for the combined offer of Pealla and Strawberries will be £10 per portion.
We will start cooking a pan at circa 12noon each day and will serve from circa 2:00pm and again at circa 4:30pm so we can assure the Paella is as freshly cooked as possible.
You can now pre-order and pay for your paella & strawberries by using the order form below for either event – we will then send you details on how to make your payment and then how to claim your meals on the day.
You can take pot luck and just turn up and we will do our best to have portions available. By preordering we can guarantee your order.
We are big fans of Herbert Hall and their English sparkling wine of outstanding quality having helped with the Vendage last autumn (2022) and also with removing the vine ties and then replacing them again in the Spring 2023.
You are permitted in fact encouraged to bring your own picnics/food if you don’t want to eat paella. Proprietor Nick Hall will have other wines and local drinks available for purchase on the day.
Then on July 22nd at Cellarhead Brewing we will be the only food offer apart from their bar nibbles and we are asking you to pre-order so we can guage what pans to bring (we have varying sizes). We ideally do not want wastage and are keen to ensure that you eat it as fresh as possible so will be again serving up at circa 2pm and 4:00pm with possibly a late pan at 6pm subject to demand.
Cellarhead is an awesome artisan brewery making a range of very drinkable beers plus they stock local ciders (Turners of Marden) plus a range of wines and soft drinks
